The Elmer T. Lee Legacy
Elmer T. Lee joined what is now Buffalo Trace Distillery in 1949 and went on to become one of Kentucky’s most influential master distillers. In 1984, he introduced Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon, widely recognized as the first commercially marketed single-barrel bourbon. His work helped establish the premium single-barrel category that continues to shape the bourbon industry today. webrt
The 90th Birthday Edition celebrates that legacy through a dated commemorative release. While it retains the approachable 90-proof style associated with standard Elmer T. Lee Bourbon, its limited production and historical connection make it especially attractive to collectors.
